Congratulations to Daniel “Darth” Vladar on his first career win. It could not have come at a better time for this Bruins team.

Vladar finished with 34 saves on 35 shots for a .941 SV%, but it was the paddle save in the 1st that brought all of New England to their knees grasping for air as if they had just lost the Millennium Falcon for inexplicably the 2nd time.

Does it ruin the moment if I point out he looked off balance here? I just can’t get the imagine of him flopping around the crease like a fish out of water in the bubble. Sorry.

The best thing here is by all accounts he looks like an awesome kid looking to do great things. Good for Darth.
