Who is calling for a QB battle

The tone has changed since July 23rd when Jerod Mayo said, “Jacoby is the starting Quarterback at this point and time.” Then he had this to say on August 19th, “We don’t have a starting Quarterback at this point and time. Drake could absolutely be QB1, so could Jacoby.”

Less than a month and Coach Vibes is singing a different tune, or is it even him? With the Patriots being projected as one of the worst teams this upcoming season, fans 30 and under can’t comprehend another losing season under the Kraft organization and maybe Kraft himself can’t comprehend it.

A rebuild takes more than an offseason and if you try to rush it you’re going to be right back to the drawing board in a year or two. Just look at how Mac Jones left this team. Some people say it’s the NFL just throw money at the player and he will come but if you look how this offseason went, no matter how much money you have or are willing to spend if you don’t have the talent or leadership, no one will come. Thats why I don’t think it’s Mayo calling for a QB battle.

It’s either Robert, Jonathan, or both calling for it. Hoping that if you get the kid in it will have the fans excited and fill the stadium. If you have another crap season, yes tickets are sold already but if people just don’t show up because they don’t want to deal with traffic or crap weather or just drive 2 hours to see shit, the Krafts lose money on concessions or merch or whatever else they make money on during game days. Thats why I think Kraft wanted a new regime in place where he can make calls to the new head coach and tell him what to say to the media. It’s all about money to the Krafts and if you can get the fans wanting to show up then a QB battle is what you must say to the media.
