Who are we listening to?

As we go in to the last game of the 2024 preseason there is one thing we have learned, Jerod Mayo and Alex Van Pelt are not on the same page. One thing that was great about Bill Belichick being here is that he was the ruler and everyone else fell in line, this regime however does not do that.

AVP has stated this since training camp started that Brissett is the starter and QB1 for week 1. Brissett should be, he knows the playbook and worked with AVP in Cleveland.

This is what you want. A guy who knows how to run the system being put in place by a new offensive coordinator. But Coach Vibes doesn’t agree with AVP, the guy running the offense. Instead he is telling the media that there is a QB battle and Drake Maye has a 100% shot at being the starter for week 1. What the hell is going on in Foxborough?

What the hell? The coaches aren’t even on the same page so I guess we will have to wait till Monday morning to find out who the starter is, even though it should be Brissett for obvious reasons, the biggest is we have no one at LT with 2 weeks to go. Kraft and Eliot need to sit down with these two coaches and make sure everyone is on the same page. If not, this season will be a dumpster fire, more so than it already will be.
