What is wrong with the Celtics???

Before the All-Star break the Celtics were the best team in the NBA, but since coming out of the break they have been terrible, going 3-3 and losing to the New York Knicks twice. The Knicks exposed the Celtics lack of a true Center out on the court and took advantage in the paint. The Knicks out scored the C’s 56-42, will this be a problem the rest of the season and the playoffs for the Celtics?

Did Brad Stevens mess up at the deadline by not addressing the need for a big, especially with Robert Williams, who is notoriously hurt every year and still can’t play back to back games?

Was keeping Grant Williams on the team since he will be looking for a bag of money at the end of the season and something the Celtics may not accommodate of him since you need to spend the money else where….Jaylen Brown.

Tatum and Brown can’t do it alone. Jayson Tatum is still a front runner for the MVP award this year and Jaylen is filling the Scottie Pippen but these guys aren’t going to cruise to the Finals without the supporting cast that they need to take it all the way. Go down the stat sheet and its Jaylen and Jayson leading the way and even though they are in their mid 20’s, fatigue is going to catch up to both of them which in my opinion you are seeing tonight with Tatum out against the Cavs.

I don’t think the ceiling is falling down on this team, I am also glad that this stretch is happening in the beginning of March and not the end of April. If they can turn it around and get that 1 seed back from the streaking Bucks, who finally lost to the 76ers breaking up their 16 game winning streak, it wold show that they do have what it takes to win a ring this year.
