The NFL owners are colluding

The NFL owners are greedy assholes and the rumor that is going around shouldn’t shock anyone. They will always do what’s best for them, and I say them because the NFL owners are an exclusive group of 31 (Packers don’t have an owner) that go to bat for one another and always make sure that their pockets will be filled with cash. Hence why Goodell is still in office, the rich keep getting richer.

With the NFL league year to begin on March 15th, teams had to designate franchise tags and with no surprise, Lamar Jackson got tagged. BUT, it was the non exclusive franchise tag, meaning he can go and still see what he is worth on the market and the Ravens could match it or trade him for (2) 1st round draft picks.

Is Lamar injury prone? Maybe, but he is a former NFL MVP, that if you can protect him and put weapons around him could be that caliber player again. But teams that were rumored to want him all of a sudden said nah, we are all set, like the Falcons and Dolphins who desperately need a QB (that is if Tua can’t play because of concussions).

There should be GM’s lining up on Lamar’s door trying to convince him to go play with said team and a bidding war should be taking place but it’s not. Why? Because the owners are pissed at what the Browns did with Deshaun Watson (5 year $230 million guaranteed) and don’t want that to happen again because it’s not in the owners best interest to be giving out that kind of money.

So is there something going on behind the scenes that’s stalling talks for Lamar who will end up playing under the franchise this season? Yup and for the players in the league where the average career is 3 years is pretty much bull shit. If the guy deserves the brinks truck then pay him that. Stop being greedy assholes.
