No one wants to play for Bill Belichick
If I hear one more Patriots honk start a sentence with “I thought no one wanted to play for Bill..” Jesus Christ give it a rest. Bill Belichick was questioned this past season because of his results. His results after losing, and some would say pushing the greatest Quarterback of all time out the door. That’s fair you tools. And by the way, the criticism is fair too. His roster was terrible and his decision making wasn’t much better. And frankly, elephant in the room, you still have Cam Newton at QB and you still had a 7-9 season last year.
Now, because guys you never heard of before Bill signed them to the Patriots are gloating over the “The Patriot way” you feel the need to spout off with "I told you so’s” like a toddler? Devon Godchaux and Jalen Mills are guys Patriot’s used to demand feilty from. Grovel at our feet. Not to speak unless spoken to. Now because Belichick comes under a little heat these guys are you sounding board?! You’re not doing the Patriots any favors with that shit.
Belichick clearly had a plan heading into this free agency. He clearly had a great pitch to get the top 2 TE’s on the market to buy in. He ID’d his targets and went and got them, he had a great plan. He also had a giant check book, friends to help, and yes the Patriots allure.
