Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Tom! This guy’s pettiness and spite knows no bounds. On this day, February 1st, 2022 Tom Brady officially retired. On Instagram, because of course. Real quick lets take a look at these posts and tell me what’s missing?
You guessed it. Not a single mention of The New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, or Bill Belichick. Okay, so maybe we should not have expected to see anything about Bill or I guess even Mr. Kraft. Brady felt like he deserved a contract, and to come and go as he pleased, and run the Patriot’s rehab facility, and wear a tiara instead of a helmet or whatever. He earned it!
But, not a single damn word about the organization you spent 20 year with? Built the greatest career the professional sports has ever seen? Completely dominated the NFL landscape for 2 decades? The breeding ground for said spite? At pick 199 the New England Patriots organization gave you a home and a platform to exercise those “petty demons” and unleash their holy hell on opponents at every turn. Now, on the day you call it a career the Pats can’t even get a fucking hashtag?

I guess when you’re entire professional existence is built on the most powerful emotion one can have (Don’t even give me Love. So overrated.) it’s hard to turn it off. However, any scorned lover will tell you leaving things on rotten terms will just continue to eat at you. So, here’s hoping Tom does the right thing and signs the 1 day deal to retire a Patriot. Maybe he can think of it as spiting his own pettiness through, Spite.
