Oh, really???

What’s the old saying? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, you’re a big stupid idiot. CeeDee Lamb wants a new contract and apparently Vegas has the Patriots at the 3rd best odds to get him.

I’m not biting the cheese anymore. It started with Calvin Ridley this offseason where he used the Patriots to get the deal he wanted from Tennessee, plus his girlfriend didn’t want to come here.

Then it was Brandon Aiyuk, who was coming to New England then said, “Nah, your QBs blow I don’t care if you give me all the money, I ain’t going!” He used the Patriots to get the 49ers to talk and extension.

Now we have CeeDee Lamb, a disgruntled wide receiver who wants to be paid as a top 5 wide out in the NFL. Jerry Jones came out and said they aren’t moving him but CeeDee will hold out till he gets a new deal. Patriots fans don’t bite on the cheese. He isn’t coming, no one is. The best bet is that next year you use your top pick to get a stud wide receiver in the draft or hope that one of the 4 wide receivers you drafted in the past 2 years hit. Whether that’s Ja’lynn Polk, Javon Baker, Kayshon Boutte, or Demario Douglas. That is the Patriots only hope on getting top end talent here. Draft well.
