Jaylen Brown is being disrespected

Jaylen Brown, Finals MVP, isn’t having a great summer. After he helped the Boston Celtics win Banner 18, he has been getting disrespected and as a Celtics fan, I absolutely love this.

Spite, we say it on the show all the time, it’s a hell of a drug. Seems like a North East thing where people just rage out with spite and maybe since he has been here now for 8 years he is now fully embarrassing his North East right. A roster spot opened for team USA after Kawhi Leonard left the team. Who would he the best replacement for that spot? One with a basketball mind would say the guy who just took home finals MVP, who locked down Luka and improved his game to get him that award. Wrong. They chose Derrick White, which nothing against Derrick, he is a great player but is he better than Jaylen Brown?

If that didn’t piss him off surely a video game rating would send him over the edge…. NBA2k25 has released its player ratings and Jaylen did not agree with what they gave him.

A guy who worked his ass off last year surely should have had a higher ranking than a 93.

Why am I happy with all of this as a Celtics fan? Because next season he is going to prove every single hater and critic wrong because spite is a beautiful thing.
