I See Your True Colors
Catchy ass song, started singing it (loud) when I was writing the title. What a weekend of NFL playoffs. Every single game was close, down to the wire and every single one of them got better and better until the best one i’ve seen in a long time with the Bills and Chiefs. But I would like to focus on one game, one person, and that would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady.
The first person that we ever discussed and threw on the hashtag dead to us was Thomas Edward Brady. For the people that get confused by this let me paint it out for you like a Bob Ross painting. In 2001 the dynasty began we had a great run until 2019 when Brady was the most unhappy 8-0 QB in the NFL, that’s when it began for me. You could see that a guy who had this win at all cost mentality just not care anymore. At that moment I knew deep down that he was gone, that this would be the last year he would be in New England and unfortunately I was right. The worst part of the situation was hearing about Yoko Ono aka Gisele whispering in his ear that he is Tom Brady and not Johnny Foxborough. If you lived in New England, and you were a die hard Patriots you thought of Brady as a God, straight men were willing to suck this guy off just to get a taste of greatness.
When he went to Tampa I finally saw what the rest of the country saw, a diva QB who wanted the spot light on him, that would much rather build his TB12 brand and make little videos with Gronk is was annoying and cringe worthy at times. Well, news comes out yesterday that he is unsure of his future. Retirement could be on the horizon, but is that really whats happening? Or, are we seeing this mans true colors? What if this is all being leaked as a way to get more out of Tampa, its not secret him and Bruce Arians don’t see eye to eye and very well could hate each other. What if Brady’s camp leaked this info so he could get the coach he wants (Byron Leftwich) more TB12 around the stadium, more money, hell maybe a stake in the Bucs. All I know is that this man has changed for the worst and that he doesn’t care about winning anymore, all he wants is his product to grow. His stupid $200 cookbooks, or his new shop where you can buy a t-shirt that says Brady for $80. He has forgotten that the people that thought he was a God don’t care about cook books, methods, or t shirts just that killer instinct on the football field. Sad to see a guy change and surround himself with people that use him to make a dollar. Now I know how Beattles fans felt when John Lennon left the group.
