I have had some time to think

My therapist has told me to never address the problem right away. Take a few steps back let it settle and then address it. Well it is Tuesday 9:30 pm and I have had some White Birch Brewing beers. It is time to address my problem.

I am not mad that Tom Brady has won his 7th super bowl. In fact, I am very happy. The guy deserves it he is the GOAT. My problem is this, and should be every Patriots fans problem, he won it with Tampa and it should have been with you. Tom Brady is our first love, we all remember our first love. Mine was Kristie B. I was a sophomore in high school. I thought, I got this beautiful girl, this is going to be forever, I am in love. And you know what happened? She went to fucking Pinkerton, she found someone better, and broke my heart. I use this analogy because this is exactly what Tom Brady did to me. I thought this was going to be forever, he was going to be a Patriot, retire here, have his statue built, have his number retired, and sail off into the sun set. But, do you know what happened instead? He did what Kristie did and found someone different at Pinkerton who could pay more attention to her and pay her more money and broke my heart again!

I am 35 Tom, my heart can’t take this abuse due to the diet and lack of exercise I commit to. Am I happy that you moved on and found success with a new franchise? Yes. Am I mad and hurt knowing that you should have been winning 7 with us? Yes. As a Patriots fan, to say you are bitter seeing a 43 year old man win and play at the level he did this year is acceptable. But, god damn do I miss seeing him in the Patriots blue and just wish I had a time machine to go back to the good old days.
