Dr. BigMac’s Power Rankings Week 3
What god damn universe are we living in? Did Taylor Swift use her witch magic (go down that god damn rabbit hole, Swifties) to make bad teams good and good teams bad? Betting on NFL football has been the most difficult thing to do now. Let’s dive in to my power rankings.
10. New York Jets 2-1 (NR)
The AFC favorite, the team that was going to dethrone the juggernaut Chiefs are making their debut on my power rankings. All it takes is to beat a terribly run organization to get that confidence back.
9. Detroit Lions 2-1 (NR)
After throwing up their mom’s spaghetti week 2 against the Bucs. The Detroit Lions offense understood they can hand the ball off to David Montgomery and will help take the pressure off of Jared Goff. NFC North could have some exciting football in December.
8. Philadelphia Eagles
The plus of not having to watch the Patriots get bamboozled on Thursday instead of Sunday means at 1pm you can watch other games and that Saints-Eagles game was awesome old school NFL with defense being played. The Eagles got punched in the mouth and kept fighting till the end and pulled it out in New Orleans.
7. New Orleans Saints 2-1 (3)
Last week I thought they were the power house of the NFC, this week they fall to 7. Great game that they should have one especially after the Eagles lost DeVonta Smith to that brutal hit. Yet, the Saints took their foot off the gas and forgot to cover Dallas Goedert.
6. Houston Texans 2-1 (2)
What’s up brother. The team that I thought could dethrone the god damn Chiefs and be a really fun team to cheer for in the playoffs. The Houston Texans laid an egg against the Vikings. Only scoring 7 points will quickly get you out of my top 5 discussions.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers 3-0 (9)
There is only one good thing about the Steelers and that is the thirst trap content Amanda Vance is posting weekly wearing her Steelers attire. That is the only good thing. Plus this team is the worst out of the undefeated teams.
4. Seattle Seahawks 3-0 (8)
Are the Seahawks good or are they just playing really bad teams (Broncos, Patriots, Dolphins) early in the season to get them to 4? Maybe, but they are doing what a lot of other teams can not and that is show up weekly and win. They look good against those bad teams.
3. Buffalo Bills 3-0 (4)
Ketchup on my face. I thought this team wouldn’t be good this year and they just keep throwing up a bunch of points and their defense is locked in. Bills Ravens Sunday night football this week will be must watch football.
2. Minnesota Vikings 3-0 (5)
Holding the Texans to 7 points while throwing up 34 on them. Bravo Vikings. Hey Eliot Wolf, look what happens when you build an offensive line and give your QB weapons. This could be you!
1.Kansas City Chiefs 3-0 (1)
Until they lose they will be 1. They should be 1-2 right now. The Bengals bogus PI call and then the no PI call against the Falcons. The three peat is alive and well in Kansas City.
