PROS / CONS / OBSERVASTIONS from Week 3
Editor’s Note: Elliot Wolf is not taking enough heat after the ass kicking on TNF. This team has been void of offensive line talent for years. The lack of urgency at one of the most crucial inflection points for a rebuilding franchise and roster is inexcusable. Wolf did little to nothing to nothing to move this team forward outside of drafting Drake Maye. Who was the 3rd quarterback taken with the 3rd overall pick. It should make you question the entire philosophy and wherewithal of this operation. The entirety of their ineptitude was on display last week against the Jets.
Pro- We'll always have week 1 baby. It was good right? (Mmm , moan a little) Yeah it was. What the hell happened?
Con- They got their ass beat. The offensive line is emergency level bad. They gave up a pressure rate of over 50% and 7 sacks. Are down to the 3rd and fourth stringers on the left side. Oh and David Andrews looks like shit now. Got old quick.
Observations- Pats looked like they only 3 days rest and were disinterested; Jets looked like a Tuesday night at Irene's (Really Really into it) . Are the players over it already? Poor Coaching?
Con- Defensively they had no energy and a crap plan; and really miss Bentley to get everyone lined up appropriately. Never seem aligned right anymore. Gave up 400 yards of offense; and couldn't get off the field in the 1st half.
Observation: If they go down the game is over. They don't have enough good players to come back from behind. Ramadama 180 fumble machine. BBH still can't hit open receivers line blows but when guys are open he misses.
DRAKE MAYE DEBUT- Maye comes in for mop up duty. Up and down; got NFL reps. Better than BBH but might die if he plays
PRO- 49ers are bad now right ? So they have that going for them !
