Dr BigMac’s NFL Power Rankings Week 6
Welcome to another week of Dr. BigMac’s power rankings. The one great thing about the NFL is it is truly anyone’s year. You can go down the top 10 and no one is a clear cut lock to win the Super Bowl this year. The two undefeated teams won a clunker of a game. Let’s dive in!
First and foremost, pour one out for the Steelers and Amanda Vance. I said last week this would be the last time the Pittsburgh Steelers would be in the top 10 and the last time we would see a thirst trap photo of Amanda Vance…… but fuck it here we go!
God damn!
10. Denver Broncos 3-2 (Last Week Not Ranked)
Broncos, who were predicted at the beginning of the season, by NFL experts, to be fighting with the Patriots for the 1st overall pick in 2025. Instead they started Bo Nix, dumbed down the offense for him and have a winning record.
9. Chicago Bears 3-2 (Last Week Not Ranked)
Another rookie QB, loading him up with weapons and looking like a hit for the only NFL franchise that hasn’t had a 4,000 yard passer in the franchises history. Shocking, I know. Bears continue to win and though Caleb Williams has shown signs of being a rookie they still pull it out. Let’s see how Caleb does in jolly ol’ England.
8. Dallas Cowboys 3-2 (Last Week Not Ranked)
“Americas team” is over .500 but Cee Dee Lamb is calling his QB out on the sideline. They barely beat the Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Their coach is on the hot seat. There is a coach named Bill Belichick licking his chops to get back in the NFL. So much drama in Dallas that I see this spiraling out of control.
7. Atlanta Falcons 3-2 (Last Week Not Ranked)
The Dirty Birds got their QB in Kirk Cousins who threw a franchise record 509 yards with 4 TDS in the Thursday night football win over Tampa Bay. Week after week this team continues to get better and are the clear cut favorites in the reeling NFC South.
6. Baltimore Ravens 3-2 (Last Week 8th)
Like the Falcons, the Ravens have gotten better after the two shitty losses to start the season. They are using Derrick Henry more and Lamar can use the play action to his advantage. The defense is the only thing that needs to get better. But the AFC North is theirs for the taking.
5. Detroit Lions 3-1 (Last week 4th)
Bye week for week 5. They still look like a top 5 team in the NFL.
4. Washington Commanders (Last Week 5th)
I thought for sure the Commanders were going to be a one trick pony. Teams would figure them out and they would fall back down to be irrelevant….wrong. Jayden Daniel’s looks the part of a franchise QB and this team isn’t just winning games, they are dominating them. Ownership should throw a butt load of money at Kliff Kingsbury so they don’t lose him to a head coaching job next season.
3. Houston Texans 4-1 (Last Week 3rd)
What’s up brother☝️the Texans are the only hope in the AFC to dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs. They are young enough and have that swagger where they know it’s them versus the world. Since the Patriots blow donkey dick, I am pushing for the Texans to come out of the AFC.
2. Minnesota Vikings 5-0 (Last Week 2nd)
A win is a win. Sam Darnold played his worst game of the season but they traveled back home from London, still undefeated and in my rankings if you are undefeated you deserve the respect even if it was bad.
1.Kansas City Chiefs 5-0 (Last Week 1st)
Somebody beat this fucking team.
