Boston’s public enemy #1
The NBA has always seemed a little bit like the WWE, meaning the fix is in. The sport has had a bad rap ever since the Tim Donaghy story came out where he was betting and fixing games. You would think once David Silver took over as commissioner he would fix the problem, yet the problem seems to be the worst it has ever been.
The superstar treatment in the NBA is sickening, these guys get calls if someone breathes on them which is ridiculous and also makes kids raging ass holes thinking they deserve every call in their youth basketball games. So you are now getting a double dose of Giannis and the NBA refs, Boston’s biggest enemies right now.
Watching the two games in Milwaukee, has made me hate Giannis. His game isn’t even that good, he puts his head down, charges the lane blindly and goes up for a slam or layup knowing if he misses he will get the call. A lot of those calls should have been offensive fouls or even flagrant fouls.
The technical foul Al Horford got for coming down after a slam dunk on Giannis and hitting him in the mouth was the same exact thing Giannis did earlier but didn’t get a tech called on him.
The only shinning light on the situation is that one day, if Tatum stays in Boston we will be getting these calls and be one of the most hated teams in the NBA, but until then, Fuck Giannis and the refs. Stop making us play 8 on 5 and lets finish this in 6.
