Pros, Cons, & Observations. Week 5 Patriots vs. Dolphins
Editor’s Note: The feeling of rock bottom is miserable. The Kraft’s have sat by and watched their once heralded franchise turn into the laughing stock of the league. Coach Vibe’s team demonstrated the tendencies from the “Loser Franchise 101 Playbook” to a tee on Sunday. You can only go up from rock bottom, but some how it feels like this team has even lower to go.
PROS / CONS / OBSERVASTIONS from a Week 5 loss to end the season
Con- AVP has no feel for how to call a game offensively. Averaging 7.9 yards per rush, but only 18 attempts !! Brissett goes 18/34 for 160. MAKES NO SENSE. Not to mention; complete mismanagement of the play clock once again. Literally doesn't understand sequencing of plays or game flow. He's fat. There were so bad offensively they managed to lose the game while winning turnover battle 2-0.
Why weren't they sticking to the run?
Why can't AVP understand play calling?
Observation- The team was completely undisciplined. Whether there was a "mutiny" or not I don't know, but that looked like a team that was tuning out coaching. Error after mistake. Twelve penalties for 105 yards. Including critical ones to extend drives. Keon White a ***. Whatever the message is not being received by the players.
Was Lazar right? Were they tuning out the coaches?
Con- Defense looked about as bad as you can look only giving up 15 points. Penalties, inability to get off the field, got run over all game. Would have been a bigger loss if not for dolphins actively trying to lose the game on special teams.
Pro- Mayo isn't a sore loser said the Polk non-TD was the "Right Call" cool. Is there anything he can do to mitigate this disaster?
Rant- Fuck you Robert kraft. First you let GM Bill Belichick ground the roster into saw dust. Then you think you're smarting than everyone by bringing on Mayo an Wolf. You have accepted a standard of mediocrity by not attempting to attain the best coaching and GM talent. You went cheap with inhouse options to have narrative it was you that made these great decisions. So you can argue it was you who started the dynasty the first time and fixed it again. You're a moron.
