Is Elliot Wolf cocky or dumb?

How does Elliot Wolf's first official roster look?  Where did he fall short?

The offensive line is the biggest question mark and has been for years. Was yet again not addressed this season.

 - Does Wolf know what a good offensive lineman is in the NFL ?

Boston.com - John Tulamacki

“So, we’re excited about our offensive line group. We’re still working to find the correct combination in there, and I think we have the pieces in place to be able to compete.”

In search of that “right combination,” the Patriots shuffled around their starting group again at Saturday’s practice. Michael Onwenu moved from right guard to right tackle. Chukwuma Okarafor went from right tackle to left tackle. Sidy Sow (left guard) and David Andrews (center) remained in their spots, with fourth-round rookie Layden Robinson moving into right guard.

Vederian Lowe,  in 2023 after the Patriots acquired him on the eve of the season, allowing six sacks and 37 pressures over eight starts, per Pro Football Focus.

Wolf still has some confidence, though, in Lowe.

“Vederian’s done a really nice job. He’s steadily improved,” Wolf said. “We said it last year, if he could just learn that he has really good length to get his hands out, then he would have a chance to ascend to that starter level.

Bedard: "You went in saying (Chukwuma) Okorafor was going to be your left tackle, (Mike) Onwenu was the best tackle in free agency, (Caedan) Wallace could play left tackle. Not a lot of that stuff has happened."

Wolf: "Which one of those hasn't happened?"

Bedard: "I mean, we didn't see Mike Onwenu at right tackle until yesterday."

Wolf: "So, yeah, Okorafor's taken reps on both sides, Onwenu took some reps at tackle yesterday. Again, I think we're just trying to find the right combination."

Much to the joy of his head coach, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert returned to practice Monday.

"I felt like music should be playing. I thought I heard music," Jim Harbaugh said about Herbert's appearance at practice. "Voices of angels maybe. It felt great."

Herbert injured the plantar fascia in his right foot in late July. The ailment required the 26-year-old to wear a protective boot throughout much of the Chargers' training camp. Herbert has shown steady progress recently, removing the boot a few days ago.

Ex-NFL player arrested after allegedly urinating on plane passenger

BOSTON -- Former NFL player Gosder Cherilus was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly drunkenly hitting one man and urinating on another passenger during a flight from Boston to Dublin, Massachusetts State Police said Monday.

The 40-year-old Cherilus, a first-round pick of the Detroit Lions in 2008 who also played for the Indianapolis Colts and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was arrested early Sunday after the Delta Air Lines flight returned to Logan International Airport.

"It's pretty egregious what you did, as alleged," Judge Debra A. DelVecchio told Cherilus.

Cherilus issued an apology on Instagram on Monday, saying he took "a sleeping medication that I don't normally use, which resulted in behavior that is not representative of my character."

An alleged serial squatter has become a living nightmare for an Upper West Side couple — refusing to leave their condo after they put her up for what was supposed to be a short stay, a new lawsuit claims.

A friend of Celeste Champoux — a film producer who worked on 1988 B-movie “Senior Week” — told Nancy Hament and her husband, Richard Scarola, that his pal needed a spot to crash before her upcoming move to Hawaii, claims the Manhattan Supreme Court filing.

But more than a year later, Champoux is still living in the family’s spare studio apartment steps from the Museum of Natural History — while making threats and moving their property in the hallway of the posh seven-story, prewar building, according to the suit.

Now Champoux — who has been sued at least two other times in eviction proceedings since 2014 — is demanding the couple pay her $25,000 if they want her to go, claims the suit, filed by Scarola, an attorney representing his wife in the matter.

Champoux’s attorney, however, said Tuesday the suit was bunk — and accused the “nasty” couple of committing “elder abuse” against his client and of cutting off electricity and water to the unit.

“You can’t just cut off essential services to intimate her to move,” her lawyer, Stephen C. Dachtera, told The Post.
