Yes, Days Off

Bill Belichick’s greatest rally cry in my opinion. After they beat the Falcons and had their parade, Bill Belichick got on the microphone and chanted, “No Days Off” a line that became a part of the Patriots Way. Hard work pays off and leads to championships, its not about having fun and playing the game, got to put the work in. So what the hell changed in 5 years for Bill to cancel OTA’s especially with this team who needs all the practicing they can get.

No offensive coordinator, no defensive coordinator, Skinny Ray (Matt Patricia) is allegedly calling the plays, something he has never done in his coaching career, and Joe Judge destroyed the Giants and is now our QB’s coach.

On the defensive side of the ball who is our number 1 at corner? Hell, who is our number 2? News flash people, Malcolm Butler retired last season with the Cardinals. He is not the same guy that played here in 2017 when he was hungry for a big time deal.

This is a big year also of the offense as Mac Jones enters his 2nd year. Josh McDaniels has moved on and now it sounds like for the first time in 20 years Bill Belichick is ripping up the offensive playbook and making it “easier” aka dumbing it down for everyone. This doesn’t seem like a thing Bill would do, is this a way for Bill to be liked by the players more or is it that a 69, nice, year old coach just doesn’t care and needs to be out on his boat more in the summer before the grind starts?
