Up and Down the Totem Pole with Chief Bobby

Up and Down the Totem Pole with Chief Bobby takes a look at 3 stocks that are looking up from the past week and 3 that are trending down. This week we are taking a look across the NFL.

UP

  • Jamar Chase-  He is lighting it up in a contract year coming off of a 11 rec 264 yards 3 Td game against the Ravens. 66 catches 981 yards 10 TD's through 10 games.  Bengals should have paid him when they had the chance because his price is going up now.

  • Detroit Lions-  8-1 after a huge comeback win against the Texans,  Jared Goff throws 5 first half INT's in a Mac Jones esc performance.  They pulled it together to win on a last second FG.   Seems inevitable for a Chiefs Lions Super Bowl clash.

  • Cleveland Cavaliers- 12-0, first to do it since the Warriors in 15/16 season who finished with a 73-9 record.  New Head Kenny Atkinson has them locked in to start the campaign.  Showdown with the Celtics coming on 11/19.

DOWN

  • Mac Jones-  Sweet Vindication for the New England Patriots.  It has been confirmed, he blows. Jones gets the spot start, and unsurprisingly, the game turned into a replay of the 2023 Patriots season.  11/22 111 yards 2 INT with a game sealing lollipop throw interception.   That should do it on his career.

  • Chicago Bears and Caleb Williams-  The Bears get their doors blown off by the Patriots 19-3.  They quit on their coach and look altogether pathetic.  The Chicago QB curse is alive and well.  Caleb Williams looked terrible and was over shadowed by Drake Maye and his nutsack.

  • Houston Texans- Lose to the Rodgers and the pathetic Jets on TNF then blow a 23-7 halftime lead to the Lions on Sunday Night Football.  Double prime time choke job.   CJ Stroud is playing like his Wonderlic score (bad).  They will still win the division by default however.
