Top 5: Suspects for the Boston Herald’s source

The Boston Herald released a story this week giving insight to the true dysfunction that went on behind the scenes with the Patriots offensive coaching staff. Andrew Callaghan and Karen Guriessian gave us some truly fantastic reporting and quotes. There was at least two sources they pulled from and potentially more. I am very curious as who those sources are. Lets take a look at the Top 5 candidates.

Devin McCourty +800

McCourty is all but come out and said he is retiring. He has been with the Patriots since for 11 seasons and captain for nearly all of them. He has been one of the "greatest Patriots both from an on field and off field perspective. On the service he’s not the most obvious choice. However, he and his brother have been increasingly more active on social media. Devin has given more than a handful of interviews since the season has ended. Those once tight lips have open up’d a bit. It’s easy to see McCourty searching for a media job in his post playing days.

David Andrews + 500

Andrews has been far more vocal the past seasons since the Brady departure. He is a captain and honestly one of the faces of the team. Andrews is smart and well spoken. He was running player only meetings in the spring and summer to try and the squad on the same page. By mid season he was also part of the Mac Mutiny due to the pure fucking incompatency and overt arrogance coming from the coaching staff. The O-line suffered as much or more than any position group on this team not named Mac with the decision to give OC to Patricia.

Nelson Agholor/ Devante Parker - even odds

WRs love diva shit. Both of these guys have a good chance to be out of New England, Agholor is a lock. I’d lean more Agholor as the mouth piece here, but really you could make a case for any of the WR on the roster besides rookie Tyquan Thorton. Parker had a social media post recently saying they Pats already had a #1 reciever in him. Agholor was almost invisible all season. But Kendrick Bourne who was deployed to the dog house early is possible too. I lean away from this because he has been a company man with the media all season and shockingly already committed to coming back. Jackobi Myers? He’s a Mac guys. Pending RFA. Opened his mouth a couple times this season in support of Mac and trashing the staff.

No name nerd - -250

The unknowns on the coaching staff are always a good bet here. Nick Caley may be a stretch, but is there some no name nerd that was under utilized and literly pissed on by Joe Judge the hardo that may take their moment of fame with the local paper? I can gaurenttee nearly ever staffer under Patricia and Judge could have done at least as good of a job they did. I can guareentee there are some axes to grind there.

Godell - -750

Fucking Godell. Tell me you can’t see this professional mouth piece doing the bidding of the NFL office. Those cucks who have a disdain for New England the likes of the Abkowitz’s of the world enjoying partners their own age. Hey! How about this? Throw your tin foil hat on here. Could this be a back door move from Kraft? He needs pressure on Bill to over haul the coaching staff lets get some unnamed sources trashing the whole season.

Honorable mention: Steve Belichick - - 1000

Belichicks live in the grass. Like snakes. We’ve seen what this kid can do with his toungue. Sniffin out weakness and opportunity. They have the old bull, now it’s time to taste the young calf. From my neck pubes down to my ball fro.
