This is it, don’t get scared now

The Celtics are now playing a best of 3 series with the Golden State Warriors. A team that has been here before and has this experience but should we really have lost game 4 at home? The Warriors may have won but I think it’s more the Celtics lost the game with mental mistakes and Marcus Smart.

The game was sloppy with a lot of turnovers and a lot of hero ball. Throughout these playoffs I have noticed one trend, if Jaylen Brown isn’t fed the ball early in the game and not hitting he will have a bad game, when that happens it apparently gives Marcus Smart the green light to jack as many 3 pointers and ridiculous outside shots that he can’t and won’t make. Jayson Tatum on the other hand had a great game just couldn’t get it done down the stretch but am I worried, not even the slightest.

In the days of social media, mostly twitter these players read the negative comments and I feel it fires them up. After a bad game the media and twitter trolls will say how the Jay’s aren’t ready and how Ime isn’t a fit and Marcus Smart isn’t the third star on this team, then the next game they play some of the best basketball of the playoffs. Doesn’t matter if its Brooklyn, Milwaukee, Miami or Golden State these guys will step up and give it all they got against Steph and company. They haven’t lost back to back games throughout these whole playoffs and I see that trend being extended after tonights game. GO CELTICS, BEAT THE BAY!
