They got em right where they want em

The Patriots are 0-2. Right where they should be. If you listened to nearly every single expert, pundit, or even fan talk about this team before the season they all would tell you there is a real chance this team starts 0-4. Those same people would also tell you they expected the Patriots to win any where from 7-10 games this season. Which constitutes as a mediocore to borderline good team. So why after two weeks facing 2 of the 4 favorites to make it to their respective conference championship is everyone freaking out?

I get the pundits. That’s their job. I get some fans, because we’re idiots. But the so called experts and the more enlighten faction of Patriots nation? Lighten up dillweeds.

The offense is the biggest problem, clearly. It starts up front with an offensive line who has yet to play 5 lineman together for longer than a David Andrews fart. Coming in a close second about to lap the suck that is the O-Line is the pathetic excuse of a WR room. There is no fixing the lack of talent in that position group. The best they can hope for is Tyquan Thorton, Kayshawn Boutte, and Pop Douglas learn how to play at the NFL real fast because they are the only ones athletic enough to make an impact in today’s game.

You want to know the best news about the offense? Well, other than the fact the walking nutsack Matt Patricia isn’t in charge of it? Your quarterback doesn’t suck. As a matter of fact he might be pretty good. It’s hard to tell because of the heap of seeping stoole he’s surrounded with right now, but Mac Jones has the most pass attempts in the league has the 6th most yards and 6th in TDs . All with out really being able to get anyone in the endzone.

The offensive line will improve. In turn the running game will improve which will open up opportunities for Bill OB and Mac to open up the offense a bit more and potentially even make DeVante Parker look decent. (There is no hope for JuJu). The defense will consistently hold good teams to low - mid 20’s while relentlessly beating the ever living shit out of the Zack Wilson’s of the league. They will be your lynch pin and tip of the spear for the more than a handful of wins you have coming your way. Contributions from special teams should continue now that Belichick is not holding both Patricia and Judge’s hands on offense. It’s all a calculation to say Bill Belichick’s floor is still extremely high and this offensive ceiling should be enough to get you sniffing the playoffs after mopping up on some of the lesser teams on the schedule. But, that time was not in the first two weeks. So loosen up your panties and enjoy the 5 INTs Zack Wilson is about to shit out and we’ll see ya in Dallas.
