The Kansas City Chiefs released left tackle Eric Fisher and right tackle Mitchell Schwartz, the team announced Thursday.
The moves create nearly $18.1 million in salary-cap space, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

We mention the flood that was amidst just a week or so ago basically stating Belichick and the Patriots are sitting pretty . They currently have the 3rd highest cap space behind just the Jets and Jaguars with $68,520,056. Who the hell wants to play in Jacksonville or for the Jets? I get money speaks louder than words, but you have imagine the Patriot’s pedigree and Belichick’s cache still holds some weight across the league over the dregs of NFL.
So, the question now is what is the perfect out come here for the Pats and how do they achieve it? The team is full of holes not the least of which is QB. Jimmy G is all the rage and I guess rightfully so considering who the Patriots are and what their reputation is when it comes to paying or more accurately over paying. They don’t. Jimmy is the perfect guy to come in and play ball. And unlike Cam Newton he doesn’t throw the football like a jar of bread & butter pickles. (I love bread & butter pickles. Dill get get bent)
But, could they have had a change in heart? Is someone like Deshaun Watson a serious possibility? The only reason I even mention this is because of the position they are in when it comes to the market. That and the 1980’s CIA infiltration operation they have been conducting in Houston. If you look at the possibilities of Free Agency signings, flipping some talent off the roster (Isiah Wynn, Stephon Gilmore), drafting to strength (Defensive front seven in mid rounds), allowing some high end picks to move, and the devilish relationship with Nick Caserio, you can start talking yourself into Deshaun Watson. I won’t, but you can.
Beyond Pipe Dreams and fantasies I do expect some serious movement from the Pats in this over populated pool of Free Agents. And dare I say maybe even some names you recognize. Isn’t a guy like Eric Fisher the perfect reclamation project for Bill? Coming off an injury and the wrong side of 30. Give him a prove it deal allowing the Pats to move Wynn in a package with Gilmore and 1sts and BOOM! Watson in Foxboro. Fuck, I bamboozled myself.
