The Red Sox must sign this free agent

John Henry and the Fenway group haven’t done a lot since their last World Series victory. I know some will say, “Guy, what about 2021? We went to the ALCS!” Yes but we got it by shopping in the bargain bin and got extremely lucky, I think we can all agree on that. But what got us to the ALCS, pitching! And there is one guy that I want on this team more than anyone.

At 39 (40 next February) Justin Verlander is the man the Sox need in the rotation. Is it because he’s the best free agent pitcher? No. Is it because he can help lead the club house with his veteran leadership? No. Is it because he can help the young kids coming up in the system? No, No, No! There is only one, ok two reasons I want Justin Verlander on the Red Sox next season.

Imagine going to a game, having a few beers on Jersey street, chumming it up with your pals and you look over and see this!

I hope that John Henry is selling Liverpool to get the funds in place to get Kate….I mean Justin over here in Boston.
