“The Dynasty” will get me through the offseason
Sports docs are one of my favorite series to watch other than true murder stories. Some of my favorites to watch in no particular order.
“OJ: Made in America” is a 5 part series that takes you from OJ as a child all the way through the murders of Nicole and Ron, and up to present day.
Another favorite was the 10 part series that came out during Covid and that was, “The Last Dance” a break down of the Chicago Bulls dynasty. It talked about pre Jordan and just how bad of an organization it truly was to his final championship. It had everyone that was involved on that team and it was a no holds bar. Just spilling the tea on everyone it was great television.
For wrestling fans “Dark Side of the Ring” each season they have 8 stories about wrestlers from Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, Brian Pillman, to other classic stories from around wrestling. But now Apple TV + is throwing their hat in the ring with the newest docuseries, “The Dynasty”.
This is Patriots porn for fans of the team and with only 2 episodes in, I am hooked. Like the Last Dance you have the players and coaches who were involved during that time. They talk about how bad the Patriots were until Robert Kraft bought the team. It also talks/shits all over Drew Bledsoe who you got to respect because the man almost died, lost his starting spot and ended up going to Buffalo because this kid who was picked 199 never wanted to give up the starting job after Bledsoe’s near death injury.
It seems as though that no topic will be off the table. One of the episodes I am looking forward to is the Aaron Hernandez one from when the Patriots draft him all the way to his death. We rarely hear any teammates talk about him and hopefully we can get some reactions about the tragic case of Aaron.
This docuseries will end March 15th and i am itching for the next two episodes all ready. This truly will be Patriots Porn for fans.
