The NBA is in need of some major changes to help make the product more likeable and watchable. With the trade deadline coming and going and now the buyouts of star players happening the best teams loaded up for a post season run. If there is no injuries the two teams stocked up were the Lakers and Nets who should face each other in the NBA finals. So, from March 28th to game 1 of the NBA finals casual fans don’t have to watch cause the best teams just got better.

The thing about the NFL and NHL is that every year someone else can be Super Bowl or Stanley Cup champs. Playoff time is intriguing because a 1 seed can go down in any round. Not with the NBA, pretty much the top teams in each conference make it to the finals. It’s time Adam Silver spices this shit up.

The one big rule I would change is that if a player gets bought out he can’t sign with the top 4 teams in either conference. Gives those lower teams a shot to take a run at the top spot and better competition in the league. Look at the Nets they have 6 All Stars (3 are former All Stars) on their team. The Lakers did the same with signing Andre Drummond.

The other big change I want and I think fans wouldn’t mind seeing is a way for Adam Silver to not let these franchises make super teams. Limit 2 max roster spots and instead of the 5 years of service to get a super max limit it to 3 years and a no move clause for 3 years. So you can get paid the most amount from this franchise but no matter what for 3 years you can’t leave. It would help the lesser teams that really can’t keep these stars because they can’t film or record albums in Sacramento, Memphis, Orlando, and so on and so on.

Lastly get these refs to call travels, carrying, double dribbles, no more ticky tack bull shit on stars. It is soooooo infuriating watching that shit and all it does is teach kids growing up that’s how the game is suppose to be played? Fuck that, be better NBA.
