Mami stole the show

Wrestlemania weekend is here and Night 1 gets 5 Big Macs from the Doughboy. The card seemed like it was favoring night 2 a bit but almost every match was a god damn banger. The first match involving John Cena and Austin Theory was the only one where I could have done without but after that everyone hit. But one person in particular stole the whole show and is the talk of the wrestling world. Rhea Ripley.

The Judgement Day’s, Rhea Ripley is a bad ass woman and after winning the Royal Rumble in January she has had her eyes set on Charlotte Flair. However, this wasn’t their first meeting, four years earlier when Rhea was the NXT women’s champion, Charlotte Flair won the Rumble and challenged Rhea at Wrestlemania 36. That was a different time with no one in attendance due to stupid Covid, this time the two got to show out in front of a live stadium with 80,000 going insane.

This wasn’t the main event but went toe to toe with KO and Sami vs The Uso’s. The ending to the match saw Rhea climb the turnbuckle, pick up Charlotte and give her the Riptide from the second rope. Just unbelievable power from one of the most dominant woman in pro wrestling today. The story they told throughout the match had you on the edge of your seat and is one of the matches that if you had a friend that has never seen pro wrestling to watch that match because it sucks you in.

From here where does Rhea go? Judgement Day is on Raw, Rhea just won the Smackdown title, is this the beginning of the faction coming to an end? Who’s next for Rhea?

Who ever it is sign me up to watch her dismantle them.
