Ja Morant: Softest “Tough Guy” in the NBA

Ja Morant is having another great season and at 23 is being put into that small group with Luka and Tatum as the future of the league. His Grizzlies are currently the second best team in the West and Morant was announced as a reserve for the West this year.

Coming from a small school in Murray State he lit up March Madness and when drafted he was humble and could get behind a guy that came from that route. But that all changed after the Grizzlies played the Indiana Pacers.

Just when we think that this typical NBA “altercation” of pushing and shoving was over with we were all wrong.

The Pacers, according to The Athletic, also alleged that someone in an SUV – in which Morant was a passenger – pointed a red laser at them. The report quoted two anonymous members of the Pacers' party, who said they didn't see if the laser was attached to a gun but believed it was.

Are you serious? There isn’t really anything you could say to me that I would pull out a laser that allegedly was attached to a gun on a group of guys for whatever was said. Ja Morant has now painted him self as a villain in the NBA, and Tee Morant should have had his son watch Friday early on in life.

With that, is Ja one of the softest tough guys in the NBA? And why isn’t Adam Silver stepping in and suspending Morant until the investigation is over? So many questions with so little answers. So congrats Ja, softest “tough guy” in NBA history.
