Its the biggest week for pro wrestling, its WrestleMania bay bay! Basically he end of the wrestling calendar, this is when Vince ends mostly all the storylines for the biggest night of the year. I remember my first, it was Wrestlemania 6 and the main event was Hulk Hogan who was the WWF champion taking on my favorite wrestler The Ultimate Warrior who was the intercontinental champ.

The torch was passed when Hogan lost to the Warrior the new face of the WWF. From there I was a fan. Here comes where Rich and Bill will say something, I have watched all 37 WrestleMania matches from start to finish.

This years card looks better than years past. The past few years just seems like the shows have been ok. They dealt with the Covid years and not having fans and the financial burden was hitting. But this year, things are going back to normal it feels like. Here are my 5 matches that I am looking forward too.

5. Pat McAfee vs Austin Theory

This maybe a wildcard but I love me some Pat McAfee. The last time he wrestled was in NXT against Adam Cole, and for a guy that just started training, Pat put on a god damn show. An NFL punter, that retired young and started his own brand and making himself a name in the entertainment world. This is Austin’s first Mania and seems like WWE is very high on this guy. From what I have seen he has the making to be a star and hopefully they deliver this weekend.

4. Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch Raw Womens Champ

Lynch defeated Belair to win the title last year and has held it since. The first match was a squash, Becky turned heel and the match was over in 20 seconds. This rivalry has reached its boiling point and looking forward to seeing these two put on a show.

3. Stone Cold on the KO Show hosted by Kevin Owens

Yes, that Stone Cold is coming back after 19 years away. For a program that could end night 1 you still haven’t seen Steve Austin. From all reports he is in the best shape of his life. They aren’t calling this a match, more of a guest on a show so this could go 2 ways, one really good, one really bad. The bad, its just Austin and Owens going back and forth verbally and then Stunner to Owens and that’s it. For the build up they are making it should be a fight. Where they wrestle, doesn't need to be a marathon but needs to be a good 6-8 minute match, if its the latter than this could disappoint.

2. Brock vs Reigns

Champ vs Champ, a unification match to have an undisputed champ. Two guys that are the biggest names in the business today. This is their 3rd main event of mania, the last 2 were great but this one I feel they are both at their peaks right now. These are also two men that will be the holy hell out of each other and will entertain for sure. Near falls, finisher after finisher this could be the best match of both shows.

1.Seth Rollins vs ?

Could be the best of both shows but there is this one. Seth Rollins will take on a returning Cody Rhodes. This one checks the box as most anticipated. Wrestling can’t keep secrets, we know Cody is signed, Cody will be at Mania, and Cody is facing Seth. A man that tried to put WWE out of business, started his own promotion, didn’t sign a new contract with said company and is now back with the WWE. How the crowd will react will be bonkers. Seeing these two in a ring together sharing the biggest stages will be a classic. Only way this isn’t 1 is if it is anyone but Cody Rhodes.
