Is this the best playoff run, EVER?

For the first time since 2010, the Boston Celtics have reached the promise land. On Thursday they start the quest for banner 18 against the Golden State Warriors and their 3 headed monster, Steph, Klay, and Draymond. The quest to get here was challenging though and it has been said the hardest ever, but is that true?

The Celtics started this run as the 2 seed taking on the Nets with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, two players who are on the list of top 10 players in the world. Next up Giannis and the Bucks. Injuries plagued the Bucks but still, they have the best player in the world in Giannis and we took them to 7 games and won. Lastly the number 1 seed Miami Heat and Jimmy Butler. They were the top team in the East and even if Tyler Herrrrrrro was injured, Rob Williams played on one good leg, hobbling up and down the court in a game 7. That’s a list you can hang your hat on at the end of the day. But still so much stands in the way of this team.

You are once again the underdog in a series, your finals experience is 0 to 123 for the Warriors. No player on the Celtics has ever been to the finals. You have a rookie coach in Ime Udoka taking on a guy who has 8 rings, 5 as a player and 3 as a coach. The last record is another one stacked against us, Jayson and Jaylen are the leading scorers for the Celtics and both are under 25. Three times there have been teams led by 2 players 25 and under and none of them won the title. Every check mark is on Golden States column. The deck is stacked against us, and *IF we can pull this off, this team could go down as one of the greatest to ever win an NBA Finals Championship.
