Dr. BigMac’s Movie Pick of the Week

I have been on a serial killer movie bender as of late. I don’t know why, but I just keep searching for recommended movies to watch. The other night I watched The Clovehitch Killer (6.6 on IMDB). It stars Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story) and Charlie Plummer. It’s about a small Kentucky town that was riddled with 10 unsolved murders all of which are females that have been tied, gagged and strangled. You meet Tyler (Charlie Plummer) a boy scout around 16 years old and his troop leader and Dad, Don (Dylan McDermott). This is a middle class religious family that follows the ways of the lord.

This movie has twists and turns and some predictability from the beginning but all in all I would give it 3.5 Big Macs out of 5. Don’t buy it. You can find it on Hulu right now.
