Dr. Big Mac’s Power Rankings: Week 2

Week 2 is in the books for the NFL and we have some movement. As I write this I also have a lot of toot tooting to do (fuck you Rich and Bobby) but that will be further down the list. Who made the top 10? Let’s dive in.

10. Arizona Cardinals (NR) The only reason why the Cardinals who sit at 1-1 made this list is because after week 1 not utilizing Marvin Harrison Jr., the coaches decided it would be a great idea to get him the ball. 8 targets 4 receptions 130 yards and 2 TDs. The NFC West is wide open and will not be dominated by the 49ers.

9. Pittsburgh Steelers (NR) honestly they could be 10 or even off the list. The only thing the Steelers have going for them is Amanda Vance, certified smoke. That’s why they are at 9. This will be the highest they will be in my rankings all year and the last time I’ll have to talk about them but. Shitty QB, zero offense, defense keeping them close in games.

8. Seattle Seahawks (NR) Imagine building an offensive line for a mediocre QB and giving him weapons. Thats exactly what the Seahawks did for Geno Smith. Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf and JSN is a three headed monster for Seattle. Like I said previously, the NFC West will not be dominated by the 49ers this year.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NR) could the NFC South be the best division in football? Falcons just beat the Eagles Monday night, the Saints and Bucs are undefeated and beating good teams. Got to give respect to a team that goes to Detroit, who played in the NFC title game last year and beat them on their home field. Baker seems to be doing just fine in Tampa.

6. Los Angeles Chargers (NR) Hey Chief Bobby, how does Jim Harbaugh’s testicles feel directly on your forehead? That’s right, the Chargers, a team that Chief said would be awful this season with the hiring of Harbaugh. They are doing the complete opposite and stay unbeaten. Looks like they just need some direction on this team.

5. Minnesota Vikings (NR) if you scroll back up and see what I said about Arizona and Seattle and then you combine that you get the Minnesota Vikings who just beat the defending NFC champs. Sam Darnold looks like a 3rd overall draft pick with protection and weapons, they even have a great defense. Vikings are I’ll be shaking up the landscape in the North.

4. Buffalo Bills (10) The Bills moved up 6 spots after a dominating Thursday night performance over the Miami Dolphins. Last week my cohosts said 10 was way too low and they should have been closer to the top 5, this week I have them in the top 5. Josh Allen will get better with his new receivers and the defense just needs to build confidence.

3. New Orleans Saints (8) Up 5 spots from last week after both Rich and Bobby laughed and said how dumb I was to have the Saints in the top 10, they marched over to Jerry’s world and threw up another 40 points. Is that good enough for you Rich and Bobby? After week 2 the Saints are the best team in the NFC, no doubt about it.

2. Houston Texans (5) what’s up brother☝️ the Texans move up 3 spots and they are my second best team in the NFL. It was an ugly win but it’s the NFL, a win is a win. The Texans are showing that they can grind it out and win on both sides of the ball. I think they are young enough and not get mentally beat by the best team in the NFL.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (1) no movement here like my penis in 8th grade. Just need someone to knock them off because the over showing of Taylor Swift is making me start to turn on her. Love the music but when it’s time for football I want football, not her in the press box.
