We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses. -Carl Jung

I’m not sure what that means. I had to look up condemnation. But, here’s how I took it. Danny Ainge has not truly accepted his team blows and he is oppressing the shit out of me. Did I do that right?

Evan Fournier was traded for by the Boston Celtics today. It took 2 2nd round picks. Good deal I guess. He is a 20 point scorer. The Celtics need scoring. That’s not really the point. The point also is not that Aaron Gordon went to the Nuggets for a 1st round pick and a couple of hacky sacks. If Danny is unwilling to move on from Marcus Smart, fine. Smart has his issues, but he is a good player. You probably are not better or worse with AG over Smart blah, blah, blah.

Here’s the point. Grant Williams, Romeo Langford, Peachbaskets Nesmith, Carson Edwards, Semi Ojeleye, can all and should all be on the move for something different. Not better. Not worse. At this point just different. Danny as accumulated “talent” and this season it has accumulated into a group of underachievers who seemingly push each other down not up. And if you want to throw Brad on there go ahead. I would place the blame for the lack of give a shit, but him leaving could be part of the solution. Call it chemistry, call it team building, call it what ever you want. Evan Fournier does not move the needle enough on roster 1/2 full of fringe NBA guys. It’s like dropping a hot dog in a hall way. Ya aint cumin’ and ya aint goin. Anywhere.
