Coach Prime broke the first rule of fight club

Deion Sanders is off to a 1-0 start in Colorado and has a Heisman finalist on his roster but that’s not the story coming out of Boulder before their game this weekend against Nebraska. Coach Prime is bringing an old school vibe with him in his second season as the head coach of the Colorado Buffalo. Taking captains patches away, instead he gives players L’s and D’s to wear. The L stands for leaders and the D is for dawg. He wants these players to fight along with him in the trenches and you must earn these patches.

But the other old school method, well that has the police in Boulder investigating. Allegedly Coach Prime told his players that if you have a problem with a teammate, deal with it, even if it’s on campus, square up and deal with it like men. That’s exactly what happened between ex Buffalos assistant coach, Trevor Reilly and graduate assistant Josh Jynes. The incident was caught on campus security cameras. When the team got a hold of the video Warren Sapp (yes that Warren Sapp), now a graduate assistant coach for the Buffalo, broke down the fight with his players.

Police in Boulder are investigating to this real life fight club that Coach Prime has allegedly brought to his players. More drama for Deion as clearly he wants his team to all rock the Dawg on their chest. He just has to realize that this isn’t the same America or culture he was raised in back in the 80’s and early 90’s.
