Can we talk about Stranger Things season 4 yet?
At work there is one rule and one rule only, never talk about a show for at least a week so no one hears spoilers. So is it safe to say with a holiday weekend, 6 days is plenty of time for people to watch 7 new episodes of Stranger Things? Well, I think it is. I binge watched this Friday-Sunday and I thought it was amazing. It started off with a ton of questions but by the end of episode 7 they were pretty much answered and left you with a doozy of a cliff hanger.
I love how they made it so there are 4 different stories going on at once, with Hopper in Russia and trying to escape, Eleven being captured and going through her past to see how this all came about, Mike and Will in California trying to find Eleven, and the crew in Hawkins trying to bring down Vecna.
I usually can pick up on a twist in a movie but how they pretty much told you the story of Vecna throughout this season and not realizing it to the end of episode 7 I thought was great. Now knowing how he was created through Eleven and he was the original kid who destroyed everyone in the Hawkins lab really helped answer a lot about the upside down and why he is picking off the people he goes after. The two episodes that come out July 1st will be must see TV, although its been said that season 5 has been signed on and will be the end of the series I don’t see Vecna being destroyed in part two of season 4.
Also not enough can be said about the new character, Eddie Munson, my favorite character of this season so far. The leader of the Hell Fire club (dungeon and dragons club for the nerds of the school) he is repeating his senior year and is trying to pass the torch to one of the younger members of the club and Eddie just doesn’t give a fuck about anything at first, that all changes after a series of events but he is extremely entertaining.
