Breaking News: Patriots Ownership wavering on Mayo

We are generally just here to comment on the breaking news. It is not in our nature to be digging up dirt and we certainly don’t have any contacts. However, in our most recent podcast we spoke with Trenni Casey of NBC Sports Boston. On her show, Arbella’s Early Edition Phil Perry broke the news that after the Chargers game the sentiment in the building had changed. Ownership was not as steadfast about brining Mayo back as head coach.

Here is the exchange with Trenni starting at the 27 min mark. The whole thing is worth a watch. Lot of laughs and great insight from Trenni.

This is the first we have really seen of Ownership starting to crack. It’s a good sign. It would be negligent for the Kraft’s not to look at the nuclear option with how poorly the team as prepared. The Chargers game was as unprofessional a performance you will see from an NFL team. You simply can not allow it happen. Good on Krafts for hopefully recognizing that and thinking about making the hard decisions.
