Baseball is a bananza. Like, who gives a poop about the Rockies?
Nolan Arenado, a professional baseball player, was just traded from the Colorado Rockies, A professional baseball team, to the St. Louis Cardinals. Arenado is the best 3rd basemen in the MLB and probably the world and know body cares. But, somehow baseball still throws around money like pez at a roller derby kingdom birthday party. The St. Louis Cardinals are getting paid, yes getting paid, upwards of $50 million in this Arenado trade. Are we all just living in the fucking pre 2008 bubble burst Matrix? Why does baseball still have all this money? And if they actually do why are they spending it so cavalierly? Can’t you see the end is near?
I digress. This is good for Arenado and baseball. Ask Todd Helton what a career in Denver does for you.
