* How much of that terrible performance was the Pats defense?

1. Bad throw. Worse decision. Good tip for Pats.

3. No idea where he was throwing the ball. 3rd down. Floated directly to JC Jackson. ZERO pressure.

- The Jets are the Jets, 11 in a row vs Pats. Have not won in September since 2018. Their coach lives in a hotel with 7 kids a wife and nanny in 2 rooms. Could Woody Johnson not rent this guy an apartment in Newark?

- the tackle position is in trouble. the Right side of the line can't pass protect right now.

3 sacks allowed. Mac was sped up all day.

- Bill's opening take.

* Are the training wheels still on?

- Is Mac not taking the shots

the reverse pass by James white is not designed for a 15 yard gain. You take the shot to the end zone there.

* How many more opportunities were there like that we can't see from TV broadcast? I don't think too many.

- McDaniels keeping passses short. Either because of Mac Jones training wheels or because the line can't hold for more than 3 seconds.

- either way the play calling hurt them.

* 3/12 on 1st downs

- A couple nice screens but the sideways shit became predictable

Jets Defense

Front seven played big,mean, and hard. I think it was a good test for Mac.

- I know nothing about the Jets secondary and that's a little scary looking at the lack of separation from receivers.

- HC Salah comes from the 49ers with a very good reputation as a defensive coach. Who knows maybe this will end up being a good defense in the NFl.

Patriots Run Game

* Damien Harris run. Play of the week. Beast mode. Mac Jones pushes him in.

16 carries 62 yards. 3.9 per carry.

- James White. Monster game. running and receiving. 5 carries 20 yards 1 TD. Featured RB on that drive.

JJ Taylor 2 touches.

23 carries total. 3.69 yards per carry on the day (Not including Bourne 16 yard end around) Another nuts out for Mac play with the block.

Not terribly impressive

- Something to worry about? Jets defense is good? Pats Oline problem? Just a game script situation

* Nick folk breaks Gostowskis record 32 straight including 46 and 50 yarder. Taks on the 33rd. Folk and his spare tire have come a long way since 2019 in Philly.
