HEADLINES with the OBVIOUS ONE

READ THiS in and IRISH ACCENT

Top of the grundle to ya,

Tom Brady made all of the lassies happy in south florida when he announced he was coming back for another season.

Here's hoping Nessie can put this ole Dryshite in an early grave.

(no accent) #deadtome

Bill Belichick plans to head into the season with no coaches and a team of geriatrics on the field. The Patriots trade away Chase Winovich and Shaq Mason this week.

They have signed literally no one of consequence. What a Gobshite of an off season thus far

Our very own Celtics were back in action against the Warriors on Wednesday. Raystrodomus says if you're lucky enough to be Irish you're lucky enough and the Celts were lucky enough. Because their Irish you see.

The Red Sox have been at the gates of heaven before the devil found them dead.

Speaking of dead, Chris sale's rib cage is shattered like a pelvis at Irene's on Tuesday. He will miss the first two months of the season

Happy Saint Patricks Day -

This has been HEADLINES with the OBVIOUS ONE

Red Sox off season

* The Red Sox have signed ........ nobody

* Freddie Freeman sweepstakes

* Chris sale fractured rib. - 2nd worse contract in Sox history

* Schwarber gone to Phillies 4 years $80 million

* Suzuki signs with cubs 5 years $85 million

What's their need? Where do they get it?

- More importantly. WHAT THE FUCK?!

AFTERNOON DELIGHT

Bruins trade deadline

- Jackob Chychryn out a month. Arizona may not be willing to move him now.

* Starting to feel like Debrusk is staying and Bruins are doing little to nothing.

Joe Haggerty Boston Hockey now

Anaheim Ducks as possible trade partner

Enter Josh Manson, Rickard Rakell and Hampus Lindholm into the conversation from a Boston Bruins perspective. Both Rakell and Lindholm are at the end of long six-year contracts with the Ducks approaching unrestricted free agency, and the 30-year-old Manson is at the end of his contract as well.

There had been some whispers about a possible Bruins deal brewing with the Ducks that involved Jakob Zboril earlier this season, but that was obviously dashed once the young Bruins defensemen went down with a season-ending injury.

Rackell is a right winger that absolutely could slide into a top-6 role should the Bruins deal Jake DeBrusk in the next couple of days, and Lindholm would be a great left-shot add on the back end for a B’s team that needs to upgrade.

The 28-year-old Rakell is on pace to top 20 goals this season and has averaged 20 goals per season over the last seven years while being versatile enough to play center or right wing. The 28-year-old Lindholm’s numbers have been down the last couple of years just like everybody across the board for the Ducks, but he’s still on pace for seven goals and 30 points while averaging more than 22 minutes of ice time per game. He’s 6-foot-3, 210-pounds and would make a strong matching pair with Charlie McAvoy

It may take some affordable NHL players under contract, prospects like Mason Lohrei, Urho Vaakanainen or Jack Studnicka, and it certainly would take a first-round pick to unearth a player like Lindholm even as a rental, but presumably the Boston Bruins would be invested in resigning a player like that they absolutely need on their current roster.

Simplest minds of the week

- Naomi Osaka - There's no crying in Tennis

- Baker Mayfield and his soft good bye
