A Conversation with Sammy Davis - #1 Overall pick in 2020 NWHL Draft

Sammy had an incredibly successful hockey career at BU. In addition to getting her degree and now pursuing her Masters she is will now be competing in the relatively new NWHL for the Boston Pride as their #1 overall pick in 2020.

The NWHL has made headlines for criticizing and picking a fight with New England’s own internet Bad Bod, Dave Portnoy and the Barstool gang. Erica Nardini was the target. Nardini has provided over whelming support for the NWHL and efforts to grow the league and women’s hockey as a whole. We were unable to ask Sammy about the whole ordeal as the interview took place before this news broke. It will be interesting to see how the NWHL moves forward. I think we know how Barstool will move forward.
