The Worst Draft pick in Belichick’s history

This guy sucked eggs 3 ways from Sunday. He was always hurt, couldn’t run, couldn’t catch, routes sucked, couldn’t block. So how in the fuck did he get drafted in the 1st round? Here are his career stats:

And just for a little salt on the wound here’s the WRs drafted AFTER N’Keal Harry.

Deebo Samuel

AJ Brown - (Cried when Patriots didn’t pick him he wanted to go to New England so bad).

Mecole Hardman

DK Metcalf

Dionte Johnson

Terry McLaurin

Hunter Renfrow

Darius Slayton

EIGHT STUDS. Eight of em. Harry failed to collect 600 yards. Four. Count em, 4 total TDs. It’s laughable. Some will blame the lack of production on the system. There have been a series of WRs come through New England with out success. I almost feel bad for N’Keal. He never profiled as a “Patriots receiver”. He was the first WR to be selected in the 1st round by Belichick. What a doozy to pop your cherry with eh?!?!

Lets take a quick look at some of the other terrible draft picks from Belichick.

OT Adrian Klemm (second round, 2000)

WR Aaron Dobson (second round, 2013)

DB Jordan Richards (second round, 2015)

LB Jermaine Cunningham (second round, 2010)

OLB Shawn Crable (third round, 2008)

QB Kevin O’Connell (third round, 2008)

DB Cyrus Jones (second round, 2016)

DB Ras-I Dowling (second round, 2011)

CB Terrence Wheatley (second round, 2008)

WR Taylor Price (third round, 2010)

OT Kenyatta Jones (fourth round, 2001)

DL Dominique Easley (first round, 2014)

WR/KR Bethel Johnson (second round, 2003)

RB Laurence Maroney (first round, 2006)

WR Chad Jackson (second round, 2006)

I see some patterns.

Pattern #1: Bill sucks at drafting WRs.

Pattern #2: The “value” picks in round 2 suck.

* Good luck to Tyquan Thorton

I put Dominic Easley and Chad Jackson up there for draft busts, but no one tops N’Keal. The combo of draft position, lack of production, and talent taken after locks up the #1 spot for worst draft pick ever taken under Bill Belichick’s tenure.
