The Patriots Need An OC

Bill Belichick has done this for 20 years, he has to be the smartest guy in the room and for the most part it has worked for him, but the past 2 years have been real head scratchers.

Last year we saw the defense have its up and downs like a roller coaster ride with Jerod Mayo and Steve Belichick splitting duties as, but not having the official title of Defensive Coordinator. With players coming out after leaving the Patriots, saying how confusing it was that they didn’t know who to listen to and that some like playing for Jerod and not Steve, you would think that Bill wouldn’t pull the same mistake, especially on the offensive side of the ball with a 2nd year franchise QB, but he did.

This year he brought back his boys to help on the offensive side of the ball, both of whom failed miserably as head coaches and never held OC jobs, Matt Patricia and Joe Judge. Going into camp no one knew who would be dubbed OC and as of this writing no one still knows since they have been splitting duties along with Belichick in camp. I could be fine if all the reports coming out of camp were good but they are not. Last week this shit defense that has no real number 1 CB, stopped this offense and didn’t let them score all but 1 TD. Mac Jones hasn’t been as sharp with his WR’s. How many weeks in to the season will it take for Bill to realize he fucked up. It’s a time where we got to save money, I get it, but to not appoint a OC or DC so you don’t have to pay for the title is ridiculous, we can’t be messing around with Mac Jones, a QB that got his head knocked around last year due to play calling and not having the right people around him. With everything going on with Boston Sports are we back in the 80’s where our only bright spot is going to be the Celtics. Come on Bill, be great again!
