The 2004 Red Sox called themselves “The Idiots”. The defacto leader of the group was Kevin Millar, but everyone’s fan favorite idiot was Johnny Damon. The Jesus looking, eclectic, lefty with no arm roaming center field found his way into the hearts of the good people of Boston.

So, how does this video make me feel as one of those good people of Boston? Well, he didn’t get shot. Or beaten. So, I laughed. How predictable. What a fucking idiot.

Dealing with drunk people when you’re not drunk, SUCKS. That is why I try my best to always be on the right side of that equation, but also keep it level. Johnny forgot to keep it level. I feel foe cop a little bit here trying to wrangle in a couple of boozy floozies, but at the same time what threat do they pose? Is Johnny Karate gunna drop is man bun and start hacking away officer so and so? The guy was so so hitter with with only a little surprise power. Plus, he’s 11 sheets to the wind. The wife on the other hand? Visible “Drunk Karen” threat. Call it in!
