Deandre Hopkins to the Patriots
Most Patriots fans have been on the side of, “Give Me More!” I was one of them but I am back on the Positive Vibes Only train now, because the inevitable is happening, Deandre Hopkins will be traded to New England for a 3rd round pick.
What’s my source, wouldn’t you like to know. The biggest tell tale sign is that the Dallas Cowboys, who were front runners to get Hopkins, traded for Brandin Cooks because Hopkins wouldn’t restructure his deal. The Cowboys couldn’t afford him at the deal he has in place, but do you know how can? The New England Patriots.
You can now check off wide receiver for things the Patriots need to address this offseason. A wide receiver room of Hopkins, Ju Ju, Devante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton is a very respectful and competes with the likes of the division. This should also help out Mac Jones since he now has an established group to throw to, not to mention Mike Gesicki.
Things are moving in the right direction. Hopefully Bill can work some more magic come draft day.
