Dan “Knee Caps for dinner and power Stances for lunch” Campbell went through a legitimate interview process with an actual NFL Team and was hired as the HEAD Coach? I’m sure this beef cake is an immensely kind and charismatic individual, but head coaches belong in the film room with Chinese Take out not in the Gym with Muscle Milk. Which begs the question, how did we get here?
The NFL Owners have become less business men and woman and more of a petty high school click that won’t make any changes or decisions that someone else hasn’t agreed to make with them so no one looks stupid. And god forbid someone does step out of the cool kid circle they bully that fucking nerd into submission. (Unless you have rampant sexual misconduct allegations, are deaf to racial insensitivity, and continuously drive your team into the obscurity)
Think about it. What % of owners are just kids who inherited the team? They have absolutely zero qualifications to own a team other than “alleged” blood relation. (Jerry Jones loves whores). Someone go take a look at like the 13th and 14th century Europe and tell me how well things go when you just hand power over to a spoiled little cunt who breast fed until he was 14. (I’m assuming.)
So why Dan Campbell? Well he’s been in the NFL and coached a couple games before. Lets toss this retread back in the mix and hit reset on the burning of the franchise down to the ground. It’s like a forest. They need a good burn every few years to grow back to maturity except the Lions are like a California forest that just keeps burning every year because idiot nincumpoops’ can’t stop doing nincumpoop ’ things.
