Cam Newton can not be the best option

It’s March 4th, the weather is starting to turn, I see buds on the trees this winter hell is almost over, everything and everyone should be happy, that is until you read Greg Bedard’s new post on Boston Sports Journal. Greg Bedard is pretty in with the Patriots and knows the inner workings over at 1 Patriot Place. When I read the article about how the Patriots don’t have any interest in this free agent market and Belichick is talking himself into signing Cam Newton again, I almost lost my god damn breakfast.

Let me state that he also says that Jimmy G is plan A and they are watching that situation closely in San Francisco. But in order to get Jimmy it will have to be a trade and who knows maybe the 9ers try and fleece the Pats asking for a 1st and player in return for Jimmy. So if Jimmy isn’t available I would go after Dak Prescot, Jacoby Brissett, Mitchell Trubisky, Ryan Fitzpatrick. You know what these 4 players have that Cam doesn’t? A working shoulder. Let’s just hope this Jimmy G trade works out and in a timely manner so we can get WR and TE help knowing they have a viable QB throwing them the ball.
